Launch checklist

Follow this three-step checklist to activate your workspace and receive an individualized learning plan.

Step 1 · Create your account

Visit talentg.vercel.app and register. Pick the role that matches your current goal:
  • Student / Free user — explore courses, assessments, and community events.
  • Trainer / Mentor — request authoring access to publish cohorts.
  • University — onboard academic programs (TalentG approval required).
Unsure which role to choose? Start as a Student—additional roles can be layered onto the same account later.
Finish onboarding within the profile wizard:
  • Confirm contact information and select notification preferences.
  • Share current skills, target roles, and preferred industries.
  • Upload an optional résumé to seed AI career insights.
The more context you provide, the sharper your AI-generated roadmap becomes.

Step 2 · Run the Strength Finder

Launch the AI-powered Strength Finder from the dashboard to establish your baseline. You will receive:
  • A ranked list of core strengths with practical interpretation.
  • Career recommendations aligned with your aspirations.
  • Learning path suggestions linked to TalentG coursework.
  • Automatic progress checkpoints that update as you complete modules.
The assessment is free and typically takes 12–15 minutes.
Navigate to the recommendations tab to review:
  • Suggested cohorts and live sessions mapped to your strengths.
  • Practice projects and certifications to reinforce new skills.
  • Optional micro-learning playlists for busy schedules.
  • Mentor or internship pathways when available.

Step 3 · Enroll and start learning

Choose your first course and complete enrollment:
  1. Browse the marketplace or pick from your recommended list.
  2. Review the curriculum, effort estimate, and prerequisite badges.
  3. Apply coupons (if eligible) and complete secure payment.
  4. Unlock resources instantly—videos, notebooks, templates, and office hours.
Most courses include video lessons, hands-on projects, and assignments.
Begin your learning journey:
  1. Watch onboarding videos to understand deliverables.
  2. Complete exercises or labs directly inside the learning environment.
  3. Submit assignments for mentor review and AI feedback summaries.
  4. Track milestones from the progress tab and celebrate each badge unlocked.
